100 Year Erosion Rates and Erosion Setback Analysis
It is necessary to estimate erosion rates for rivers and creeks as well as shorelines in order to determine erosion setback limits for a 100 year planning horizon. We determine erosion rates through field investigation, aerial photographic analysis and modelling approaches where applicable. In addition to standard methods, we have also developed in-house techniques for determining an envelope of meander bend migration. Our assessments conform to Provincial and Conservation Authority regulation.
