Environmental Modelling
Many urban landscapes are plagued by environmental problems including rapidly changing landscapes and the depletion of natural resources. Environmental modelling can assist with predicting the change and consequences of current actions and the possible outcomes of future scenarios. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) provides a means in which to visualize many situations both over a site of interest and over various time periods.
The Geomatics group has the experience and technical skill set to answer environmental modelling questions and effectively deal with issues such as margins of error, data availability and data accuracy.
