Geomorphological and Sediment Transport Monitoring

Monitoring allows us to identify systematic change, determine potential risk to infrastructure and assess performance of channel works. Our monitoring techniques include installation of measurement devices such as sediment traps and erosion pins as well as stand-alone electronic instruments for measuring water level, turbidity and flow. We also use time-lapse photography to obtain high frequency observations without costly site visits. When accurate morphological changes need to be determined, total station and RTK GPS surveys are completed.
