Geomorphological Inventories and Baseline Data Collection
Geomorphological inventories and baseline data collection are important for the proper management of fluvial and coastal systems. In addition to the field and desktop assessments used to create inventories, we can also produce an interactive GIS package to display spatial information. The interactive GIS package allows access to a spatial database through a user-friendly, stand-alone viewer. This package allows the user to point and click on any location within the study area and view all data that were gathered in the field including photographs. The viewer is freeware software which does not require any other software or license to run. It can be used as an additional visual tool to quickly view specific site characteristics or find any issues within the study area.
