Meander Belt Width Assessments
Meander belt widths are used to determine the extent over which a channel is migrating or could be expected to migrate over a 100 year planning horizon. We determine meander belt widths though field observation, aerial photograph interpretation and various modelling approaches following Provincial and Conservation Authority regulations.
