Real-Time Kinematic (GPS) and Total Station Surveying / Data Collection
Field surveying is a fundamental component to many land and/or environmental projects. Topographic site surveys and RTK data acquisition are the foundation to the production of specialized analyses, mapping and CAD solutions. Reliable and comprehensive base data is essential to the overall success of a project.
The Geomatics group and the Geomorphic Solutions team offer a wide range of surveying capabilities including land, river, and coastal surveying. To support our high precision surveying services, we use a Leica 1205 Real-time Kinematic (GPS) System and a Leica 1203 Total Station. The RTK solution can offer 1 cm horizontal and vertical accuracy, while the total station solution offers three-second accuracy. The Geomatics team, with support from Geomorphic Solutions, utilizes the in-house expertise of its staff to review, compile, and output the field data to the detailed specifications of our clients.
