Scour Analysis
Not only can rivers and creeks migrate laterally though bank erosion, they can also move vertically though bed scour. Sanitary pipes and feeder mains often pass underneath watercourses and bridge abutments and are sometimes in contact with flowing water. We estimate depth of scour through field observation and monitoring as well as through various modelling approaches including 2- and 3- dimensional flow modelling.
